This 51-Year Old Grandma Was Arrested With Heroin At Lagos Airport (Photo)

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has arrested a grandmother, 51-year-old Monsurat Akinyemi at the Murtalla Muhammed International Airport, Lagos for being in possession of 180 grammes of heroin.

The suspect, a trader, was nabbed during an inward screening of passengers on an Ethiopian Airlines flight from Entebbe, Uganda. She had four parcels of the drug in her luggage.

According to a statement by NDLEA spokesperson, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju, the agency’s commander at the airport, Ahmadu Garba, said the suspect travelled to Uganda for one week and hid the drugs in her luggage on the way back.

“The case is under investigation and will be charged to court soon,” Garba said.

Akinyemi, an Ogun State indigene, told investigators that all she needed was money to expand her business.

She said, “I used to buy female clothes from India for sale. However, due to family problems and the economic situation, my business started to die. I wanted to expand my business. I was introduced to drug trafficking by a friend who invited me to Uganda. I invested my $3,000 in the deal and expected that I would get $6,000 from it. I am sad that things did not go as planned. I am not a criminal. I just want to survive. When the drug was discovered at the airport, I felt as if it was all over for me.”

Chairman of the NDLEA, Col. Mustapha Abdallah (retd.) said the agency would continue to fight the anti-narcotics war on all fronts.

“Uganda is not a source country for cocaine but drug cartels are unpredictable. They constantly change their mode of operation but we are prepared to counter all their tricks. We will remain vigilant in securing our country from the criminal activities of drug trafficking syndicates,” he said

Polish Olympian sells Rio silver medal to help 3-year-old boy with eye cancer

Polish discus thrower Piotr Malachowski sold the silver medal he won at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics to help pay for the medication of a 3-year-old boy suffering from eye cancer.

Malachowski wrote, according to Facebook's translation: "In Rio I fought for gold," "Today, I appeal to everyone -- let's fight together about something that is even more precious. The health of this fantastic boy."

According to Malachowski, the procedure to treat the rare form of cancer isn't available in Poland; it is offered only in New York.

Malachowski said on Facebook that siblings Dominika and Sebastian Kulczyk,who are among the richest Poles, "declared the intention to buy my silver medal," which he put up for auction to help pay for treatment of the boy, Olek, who is suffering from retinoblastoma.

Malachowski did not reveal the amount he raised by selling his medal on Friday, but said the target, which was almost $130,000, has been met.

"My silver medal is worth much more today than it was a week ago," Malachowski said.

Usain Bolt takes five more girls to his hotel room after partying some more at London club (Photos)

It’s been an eventful month for Usain Bolt, who not only turned 30 and solidified his title as the fastest man in the world, but who also partied, made out, and possibly had sex with people who were not his longtime girlfriend while he was in Rio. PEOPLE now reports Bolt took his talents to London after the games, where he brought as many as 10 women back to his hotel room two nights this week.

Since he returned from Rio, the fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt has been partying non-stop and giving the ladies a treat. After partying until 5am this morning, his 4th night out this week, Usain, worth about $70m, invited 5 girls back to his hotel room.

A source tells the magazine Bolt arrived at London’s Cirque le Soir nightclub around 1 a.m. Monday and “[continued] the party back at his hotel” with a group of club-goers. The next night, he did the same thing at Tape: “Everyone else in the club was asked to leave around 3:30 a.m.,” the source said, “but Usain and a big group of ladies stayed in for a bit longer. They had the whole club to themselves for around an hour.”

The women he was with left the club first and headed to his hotel room, where they all stayed “until the early hours, so it must have been a good party.” Still no word from Bolt’s girlfriend of two years Kasi Bennet, other than that she’s been liking tweets shading Bolt since all this nonsense began earlier this week.

For the most part, however, Bennett seems to be getting on with her bad self as usual and truly deserves all the praise for how she’s handled this unexpected, sudden spotlight.

83 year old man on wheelchair is eaten alive by his neighbor’s dogs leaving only a third of his body intact

An 83 year old man on a wheel chair, Michael Downing was dismembered by his neighbors' savage dogs in Jacksonville, Florida. Neighbours Mackenzie Partin and Eddie Edwards found his body, which was almost unrecognisable, next to a set of bins last Friday at 4pm, local time. Speaking with WFTV9, Partin said;

“By far it’s probably the worst things I’ve ever seen in my life. “There was only 30 per cent left of his body.”

The dogs slipped through a hole in the fence which divided Downing’s property from dog owner Lephus Fenton’s home.

Partin said the dogs dragged the victim into their yard to devour him.

He said:

“They had dragged him underneath, back up underneath, to eat on him.”

The four dogs have been identified as Rottweiler and German shepherd mixed breeds.

The dogs reportedly ripped the victim’s legs off and ate flesh from his body and head during the terrifying ordeal.

Jacksonville Animal Care and Protective Services is reportedly in the process of having the dogs declared dangerous which would lead to them being put down.

The police haven't yet charged Fenton and no arrests have been made.

10yr old girl drugged, strangled & butchered by her mum's boyfriend and his cousin...

A little girl, Victoria Martens, who was supposed to celebrate her 10th birthday was found murdered by those who were supposed to protect her, in her family's apartment in New Mexico by police officers, with her dismembered remains wrapped in a burning blanket.

Details of a criminal complaint made public and filed against the girl's mother, 35-year-old Michelle Martens, her 31-year-old boyfriend, Fabian Gonzales, and his 31-year-old cousin, Jessica Kelley on Thursday revealed the terrible way the child was killed.

The three were arrested late Wednesday night after Police had been called earlier in the day about a disturbance in the Apartment at the Arroyo Villas complex. When the police got there, they discovered a gruesome crime scene in the bathroom.
Albuquerque Police Chief Gorden Eden said:

'This is a horrific tragedy for our community' Eden told reporters. 'I want to assure the public that we will pursue justice and we will make sure that we exhaust every resource into this investigation.'

After injecting the 10 year old with methamphetamine, she was sexually assaulted, strangled and stabbed before being dismembered by all three.

All three of them face charges of child abuse resulting in death, kidnapping and tampering with evidence.

Gonzales, his left eye looking black and swollen, denied having anything to do with Victoria's death as he was led out of the police station in handcuffs late Wednesday.

He and Martens reportedly had met on a dating site .

The victim's mother, with a stitched-up wound above her nose, said nothing as she was led out and placed into the back of a police car.

Police said Kelley was hospitalized late Wednesday and will be booked after she is released but they didn't say why she was hospitalized.

Thursday afternoon, Michelle Martens and Fabian Gonzales made their initial court appearances and were ordered held on $1million bond each but neither entered a plea.

According to the criminal complaint, the girl's mother, Martens who also has a younger son, made a confession, telling police Gonzales drugged her daughter so he could 'calm her down' and have sex with her.

She said Kelley held her hand over the child's mouth and she stabbed the girl in the stomach after Gonzales had choked her. She said after they killed her daughter, Gonzales and Kelley dismembered Victoria.

One of the police officers who arrived at the apartment found the girl's body in a bathroom, rolled up in a blanket that had been set on fire. The officer put it out.

Some of her remains were found in a plastic bag in a hamper near the kitchen, reported The Albuquerque Journal, citing court records. Albuquerque Public Schools district released a statement on Thursday saying they were having hard time wrapping their heads around around the sickening way the little girl was killed.

People who knew the slain child said she was well-liked and friendly. Christine Zamora said she taught Victoria gymnastics every Saturday and that she came to class happy. Neighbor John Madrid says he often saw the girl at the pool and that she was excited about the start of the new school year.
