I didn't wanna embarrass Hillary Clinton, i was holding back at debate'- Donald Trump says

Donald Trump has suggested that he did so well at Monday Night's U.S Presidential election debate claiming he held back because he didn't want to embarrass his rival Hillary Clinton.
Speaking to a fired-up crowd in Melbourne on Tuesday, Trump said that he has the momentum for victory after what he said was a strong win in Monday's debate against Democrat Hillary Clinton.
'Clinton is as crooked as they come," Trump said, 'Everything she did turned out bad."
"I was holding back. I didn't want to embarrass her."
"She is the candidate of yesterday, and ours is the campaign and the people of the future," Trump said. "She's an insider, fighting only for her donors and insiders. I'm an outsider fighting for you."
During his speech at the AeroMod International hangar at Orlando Melbourne International Airport, Trump said Clinton was "incompetent as secretary of State."
"Crooked Hillary is going to be worse than Obama, and we can't let it happen," Trump said.

Trump also promised that he would "build the wall" to prevent illegal immigration into the United States from Mexico, and that Mexico would pay for it.
Hearing those remarks, the crowd estimated to be about 8500 chanted: "Build the wall."

The Navies of the US and South Korean put on a Military show in the Sea of Japan on Monday morning, as a display of military might in response to North Korea's dictator Kim Jong-Un's testing of nuclear warheads and ballistic missiles earlier this month.
The military exercises saw the US missile destroyer ship USS Spruance align with ships, submarines and planes from the South Korean navy in the Japan sea, east of the Korean Peninsula making it the first time U.S. and South Korean vessels have operated together in waters so close to North Korea.
"We work side-by-side with our ROK partners every day; we are by their side today at sea, and we will remain by their side to defend against North Korea's unprovoked acts of aggression," Rear Adm. Brad Cooper, commander of U.S. Naval Forces Korea and Task Force 78, said in a statement to CNN.
"Our ROK-US alliance will counter the North Korean nuclear development and SLBM threats with determination," Vice Adm. Lee Ki-sik, commander of the Republic of Korea Fleet, said in a statement

See "The World's Ugliest Woman" Lizzie Velasquez (PHOTOS)

American motivational speaker, anti-bullying activist and author, Lizzie Velasquez was dubbed the 'World's Ugliest Woman" in a video posted on YouTube when she was 17. She has a rare congenital disease which among other symptoms, prevents her from accumulating body fat. The condition resulted in bullying during her childhood and early youth.

The 27-year-old from Austin, Texas, who has spoken out against bullying, was diagnosed with Marfan syndrome by the Baylor College of Medicine. She has zero percent body fat and is medically unable to gain weight. Additionally, she is blind in in her right eye and vision-impaired in her left eye. Doctors told her parents, at birth that she would never speak or walk. The doctors were wrong. In fact, at 27, she does both professionally. HuffPost described her as a "seasoned motivational speaker and a "self-professed pacer" while she speaks on stage"
"There were many times where I was so frustrated and angry. I didn’t know who to blame or who to get angry at. I made every birthday wish, I lit every candle at church and did every prayer before bed. I said ‘God, please take this all away from me. Please make me normal,"  Velasquez told the crowd during one of her speaking engagements last year.
Velasquez has written two books, 'Be Beautiful, Be You and 'Choosing Happiness' directed towards teenagers, which share personal stories from her life and offer advice and talks about obstacles she has faced in her life and how she's learned the importance of choosing to be happy when it's all too easy to give up.

Growing up in Texas, Velasquez was teased, gawked at or sometimes downright ignored. She remembers her first day of kindergarten and noticing for the first time in her life that other kids were scared of her. She went home and asked her parents what was wrong with her.
"I credit my parents’ answer with why I’m able to do what I do today," she said to HuffPost. When I asked them what was wrong with me they said there’s nothing wrong with you. The only difference is that you’re smaller than the other kids. They told me we are going to love you and support you and help you reach every dream you have," she added.
Her parents treated her like everyone else. But the world did not. Velasquez remembers going to amusement parks and feeling like an attraction. Groups of adults would stop mid-conversation and stare at her. She refused to go to water parks because she couldn’t stand to be in a bathing suit in public.

A documentary film based on her life which is entitled A Brave Heart: The Lizzie Velasquez Story, premiered at SXSW last year and is set to premiere on Lifetime on October 17th, 2016. The optimistic young woman took to Instagram five days ago to write about the birth of the documentary.
"I still remember the day we hung up giant post it notes on a wall and brainstormed what would be needed to bring @abraveheartfilm life. I remember our cheers of happiness as each of you gave so generously of your time and money to help our team. I remember the day we realized this project was so much larger than us. I want to congratulate not only our Brave Heart team but everyone who has watched, shared, and helped give a voice to those who needed the help. On October 17th at 8pm PT/ET, our documentary will make its television debut on @lifetimetv! Here's to us remembering the day we helped bring awareness to the possibility of coming out on the other side of bullying"

Nigeria will soon to join most attractive investment destinations in the world- President Buhari

President Buhari has assured potential investors that Nigeria would soon be one of the most attractive places to invest as his administration has embarked on significant economic reforms to realize that goal.

He gave this assurance to a large gathering of political and business leaders from the United States, Africa and other regions of the world at the Second United States-Africa Business Forum in the New York, on Wednesday, organized by the US Department of Commerce and Bloomberg Philanthropies.
He said that the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council headed by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, will soon come out with wide-ranging business environment reforms on ports, visa-on arrival, improving the speed and efficiency of land titling and business registration. Some fiscal incentives he noted, include, up to 5 years tax holiday for activities classified as “pioneer;” tax-free operations; no restrictions on expatriate quotas in Free Trade Zones; and a low VAT regime of 5 per cent.
“We intend to make Nigeria one of the most attractive places to do business,” he declared, even as he noted that Nigeria remains the number one investment destination in Africa.
President Buhari added that his administration will continue to strengthen government institutions in order to address the concerns of investors and ease investments in the Nigerian economy.
“We are weaning ourselves from a historical dependence on crude oil, diversifying our economy, and putting it on the path of sustainable and inclusive growth. To this end, we have embarked on policies aimed at establishing an open, rules-based and market-oriented economy. We will continue to actively engage with the private sector at the highest levels to listen to your concerns and to assure you of our commitment to creating enabling policies in which your businesses can survive and thrive,” President Buhari said.
He urged participants to
“take advantage of this Forum to establish and strengthen business relationships, share valuable experience and collaborate for mutual benefits.”
President Buhari, while stressing that enormous potential exists for foreign investment and for the local economy, listed sectors which have barely been exploited to include Nigeria’s 180-million population and abundance of labour; arable land; forest waters; oil and gas; solid minerals; livestock and huge tourist potential.
According to him,
“These are no doubt challenging times for the Nigerian economy. But let me use this opportunity to boldly affirm our conviction that there is no crisis without an accompanying opportunity. In our case, we see Nigeria’s ongoing economic challenges – occasioned mainly by the fall in oil prices – as an opportunity to set the economy firmly on the path of true diversification, sustainable economic growth and shared prosperity.”
The President said that the reform measures taken by his administration since inception in 2015 have started yielding good fruits especially in the areas of security, anti-corruption and revamping the economy.
He said the priority investment sectors for his administration now are improving infrastructure, industrial productivity, agriculture, mining and digital economy where “young Nigerians are increasingly demonstrating that they have the talent and the passion to leverage.”
On United States-Nigeria business relations, he announced the commencement of the US-Nigeria Commercial and Investment Dialogue with a focus on the infrastructure, agriculture, digital economy, investment and regulatory reform to be jointly led by the Nigerian Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment and his US counterpart.
President Buhari said after this Business Forum, he looked forward to increased trade and investment flows between Nigeria and the United States.‎

Hillary Clinton's doctor releases new medical records, say her infection is non-contagious

Hillary Clinton's campaign team has released new medical records and information about the presidential candidate after the media and general public raised eyebrows over her health in the aftermath of her collapse on Sunday.

On Monday her campaign team said she was diagnosed with Pneumonia and now her personal doctor Dr. Lisa Bardack, who's also the chair of Internal Medicine at CareMount Medical in Mount Kisco, New York has released more information on her health following her decision  to take three days off the campaign trail.

'I evaluated Clinton at least four times this month -- including Wednesday -- and found that the Democratic nominee had a small right middle-lobe pneumonia.' Dr Bardack wrote in a letter released to the media. The remainder of her complete physical exam was normal and she is in excellent mental condition."
"My overall impression is that Mrs. Clinton has remained healthy and has not developed new medical conditions this year other than a sinus and ear infection and her recently diagnosed pneumonia, She is recovering well with antibiotics and rest. She continues to remain healthy and fit to serve as president of the United States."
CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta said Wednesday's disclosures were "pretty similar" to information she released last year saying the information isn't comprehensive.
"This is certainly not a release of medical records by any means. This is very similar, in some ways, to what we got in July of last year," Gupta said.

WTF! Indonesian villagers dig up dead relatives from the grave and give them makeovers (photos)

A village known as Toraja in South Sulawesi, Indonesia practices what many will term 'the most bizarre' ritual ever as villagers every three years dig up the corpses of loved ones and give them make overs in an event called the 'Ceremony of Cleaning Corpses'.

As part of the zombie ceremony, even the skeletons of children are exhumed, damaged coffins are fixed or replaced before the mummies are walked around the area by following a path of straight lines during the ritual.
Herman Tandi, 32 dug up the skeletons of his grand parents Jesaya Tandibua and Yakolina Namanda, brushed their hair and wore them wedding suits.
In another part of the village, another family dug up the skeleton of their relative, an army veteran that's been buried for ten years, and then dressed him in army uniform for the ceremony also known as Ma’nene ritual before taking 'family' pictures with him.
Another man's skeleton, Paul Sampe Lumba, who has been dead for seven years, was given glasses, a tie and a striped blazer so he could look good in the family photo while Ne’Tampo, dead for 30 years receives his own make over .
The villagers have an ancient belief that a person’s spirit must return to their place of origin so the more they go to the morgue, the better.
The kind of stories that come out from Asia tho!
